About Amy

Freelance Artist

Hi I'm Amy, a Multidisciplinary Artist based in London. I offer multiple creative services which all derive from my interest in the natural world combined with my desire to paint and create beautiful things.

Having grown up in Dorset, immersed in wildlife, I find myself consistently gravitating back to 'the peace of wild things'. In my personal practice, this, intertwined with the grounding and mindful practrice that painting is for me, becomes a therapeutic chanel to process life's experiences. On the other hand, my commission based work is a way for me to share my skill set to make custom pieces of artwork catered to each clients individual preferences. I love connecting with people and making art suited to their personal taste, for them to enjoy.

I studied Fine Art and Design followed by Illustration at Leeds Arts University. This facilities-centred course became heavily effected by the pandemic which led me to the difficult decision to leave. However, it opened new avenues for my practice. Since then, I've taken part in exhibitions and worked as a studio assistant for multiple inspiring artists including Tom Hammick, Georgia Beaumont, Eliza Downes and Maaida Noor. I now live in London and work from my lovely Brockley studio.

If you're interested in commissioning one of my services please see the appropriate section for more information or enquire via the contact page on this website.
